 La Révélation d'Arès

THE REVELATION OF ARÈS

  • Truth is ageless provided it remains pure!
The Bible and the Koran have aged by degenerating into many religious systems. They were badly affected and overloaded with a miscellany of comments and interpretations. This is why the witness to event of Arès has seen to it that the message he got in 1974 and 1977, its meaning and the account of its revealing circumstances would perpetually be perserved.

The Revelation of Arès's purity is all the more necessary since it does not lead to a new religion. This message goes beyond all religions. It leads to pure and simple spiritual life. It sets free all good men, believing or unbelieving, because only good will save man from evil, sufferings and even death. The message also sets men free from politics and law systems which are nothing but godless religions.
The Truth is: the world has to change (28/7), says the Maker calling on all of men, all of them its children, all of them the co-makers of the world, to change their personal lives and create a new world starting in every individual's heart and soul. Since completely changing the world will take man more than four generations, it is necessary that he starts today.

  • The Revelation of Arès's first part: The Gospel Delivered in Arès, was published in 1974. In 1983 the witness, Michel Potay, added annotations to it in order to preserve its real meaning after several wrong and biased interpretations had already been spreading.
  • The Revelation of Arès's second part: The Book, was first published in 1978 in the periodical "The Pilgrim to Arès" which has long been out of print.
  • Since 1984 The Revelation of Arès's two parts together with all the previous separetely printed introductories and forewords have been the only form of edition.
  • The Revelation of Arès was translated into English by the witness in 1995 and was edited in a bilingual form in the same year.
    It is a 6 4/8" x 9 3/8", 778-page hard cover with a dust jacket and bookmark.
Especially for that edition the witness rewrote his comments and notes completely and added a few appendices to give information on the Arès Pilgrims, the Pilgrimage to Arès, etc.

Excerpts of http://perso.wanadoo.fr/michelpotay, a site written by the witness:

Just as every thing that comes from the Maker, The Revelation of Arès is a source of miracles... Its major miracle is the slow miracle by which the world will change, the miracle worked by whoever changes or re-creates himself or herself by striving uninterruptedly to drive evil from his or her heart, put the good into practice, urge on other people to do likewise. As man, Genesis says, was created in the image and likeness of the Maker every human being, believing or unbelieving, who regains Good is filled with Grace again, he or she gives himself or herself the Maker's very strength. That strength by increasing and expanding from generation to generation will conquer even death. The Bible and the Coran reveal the existence of the Eternal and Merciful Lord, the Gospels are the revelation of love, but The Revelation of Arès is the revelation of effort. It calls on man to leave dependent faith and gain free faith, creative and dynamic... It takes only a little attention to detect something very particular in The Revelation of Arès, an extraordinary proximity or similarity between the Maker and the reader which reminds us that both of them share the same Life... Ever since 1974 a lot of ideas have been borrowed from The Revelation of Arès, either adapted or copied word for word. You can currently recognize them in many sermons Catholic, Preotestant, Jewish, Muslim, etc., as well as in political and philosophical speeches. But when The Revelation of Arès was published, it was completely new, or rather it completely resurrected a Word that had long been garbled, misrepresented, distorted, or forgotten... As all things are interactive in The Revelation of Arès and its richness and power of expression is immense, you could weaken its Breath by summing it up. You have to read and reread it, you have to let the Maker speak. It is a mine, the more you dig into it, the more it becomes rich. The feeling you end up having as readings go and all things prove interactive is that the Maker lives in man and man lives in the Maker... (So you end up finding out that) society will never change for the better through politics, through laws and mass implementation of laws. Society will change through every man's spiritual re-creation of himself by himself within a small remnant of just people... The Revelation of Arès is far beyond all sorts of political and religious systems. It welcomes every man of good, whether believing or unbelieving, it does not dwell or focus on any particular form of spirituality provided spirituality, whatever, is the product of love, forgiveness, wisdom, patience and spiritual intelligence, which all are teachable... This is not a Word to make you dream, it's a Word to make you act.
