The Revelation of Arès : The most significant event ever since the Bible and the Quran have been revealed. The core of the book is a revelation : The Gospel Delivered in Arès (1974), and The Book (1977). All the appended textes are testimonies, accounts, annotations and thoughts by the witness, Michel Potay.

This revelation was not received in a dream or in a vision, but in a physical encounter as man talks to another man (Exodus). This revelation, however, dismisses and transcends every religion, and is even more foreign to esotericism. It is a book of Life for the soul and the world to come.

« Under the exterior of a religious text no supernatural revelation has ever raised the question of Truth so acute, God and religion. Never have we know so little about God, but at the same time we have never been so positive about his existence, we have never been so close to him. And so positive about his existence, we have never been so close to him. And never before 1974 and 1977 had we understood what every man is : God.»

Excerpt from 1974 Front Matter, p. 57-59

« The Christ I saw was no spirit ; he was a person who took up space and was undoubtedly weighty, for I felt the heaviness of his arm when he laid his hand on my head. When he anointed my lips I could distinctly make out the grooves on his thumb and noticed that the fingernails were normal

The man in front of me, though weird and unspeakably majestic, would have been but a man, had he not had five peculiarities which were not a mortal’s : the radiation of his whole body, only a little less intense in his hair and beard, a gleam unlike any brilliance in the world, probably the light of transfiguration, which made all bodily colours pallid so that Jesus’ appearance looked monochrome to me, a body with clear-cut features and volumes but only bright ; his dimensions perfectly well-proportioned, but all above human average : his height, chest and waist width, head, limbs, hands, feet (did Jesus seem to be oversize only because of his radiation ?) ; the ascension of his body at the close of each vigil ; his fragrance which sometimes persisted long after his ascension ; and his voice with an incomparable indescribable resonance and accent, a voice that, should not Christ have been visible, would have be enough to make me bow low. »

« When those people minded to invariably mock revelations have laughed till they could laugh no more, they will not have sorted the matter out. The fact will remain that a good man’s testimony is worth taking heed.

There has been more than one wonder in Arès.

God manifested himself, and spoke, but also since then numerous men have found faith, a reason to live and struggle, and even happiness and healing.

Being realistic does not consist in stating «  I don’t believe that!» even before listening, reading and pondering. Stating «I believe only what I can see» is not realistic either; is all that you can see around you and in the world any more worth believing? »

Being realistic, isn’t it rather wondering if the paths of happiness called «realistic», by which the worst idealism have invaded us: cult of materialism and rationalistic arbitrariness, are warranted? Have we not rejected God because religions, churches and sects had deceived us, whereas we ought to have rejected them instead? »

10. I have blown My Breath throughout the earth ;

thanks to It every life, even in the seed, even in the egg (or ovum), knows its food  and the laws of its species.

Thanks to It every man recognizes my Voice.

11. Although their heads remain refractory, all those to whom you shall convey My Message will know inside them, within their chests into which I blow, that My Messenger is truthful, for, even though the head is weak, filled with pride, the heart is filled with its God.

12. Many men will not follow you, they will meet perdition ; some will submit to My Word, and along with you they will start the Harvest.

« Sunday, October 2, 1977.

It was 04 :05 a.m. by my alarm when a hubbub from outside woke me up: Harsh voices, jangling and rustling noises. I listened ; the hubbub fluctuated ; a noise grew stronger than others, then another became predominant, and then another in turn ; sometimes the hubbub died down, turned into a distant buzzing. For a time I stayed in bed listening attentively. Gradually lights from the garden became visible at the corridor onto which our bedroom opened. I put the bedside lamp on. Christiane was sleeping deeply with her left cheek creased on her hand. I shook her by the shoulder to way her up; her skin was cold ; I felt a pang. I shook her again but no avail. I yielded to the fact : she was in a state of lethargy. »

[…] I entered the prayer house. Light was pouring down the walls. Even more astonished I heard now the joint concert of the outside noise and inside noise : the whole framework creaking, squeaking, grinding, giving out unspeakable sounds as if projectiles were shot lengthways into the rafters and purlins ; I expected them to blow up at any second. It seemed that the air was forming into enormous crystals, it was stirring as if made of pointed and square geometries. Who apart from me would ever have an idea of such a bustle? I fell on the floor and shouted, «God!» »

« Some persons who claim that they know God’s way of speaking perfectly, although they have never heard him, have already rejected The Book owing to its « impossible » tongue. Some others have scoffed at it and called it «pidgin French », « gibberish » and even « barks ». In fact, The Book is the antirhetorical. While God was speaking to me, from October 2 to November 22, 1977, I was having a feeling that he used an elementary, lapidary language because he was loath to use a rich subtle human language fit for the most artful deceits and lies. The fifth theophany strengthened me in my feeling: human language has been perfected to become the most skilful vehicle of lies, the most fearsome tool of arguments and lawsuits; its syntax, its grammar, its style, my make it plausible and attractive; they also are open to contradictory interpretations. With such a rhetoric humanity cannot find Truth, love and justice. God, who states Truth, is unlikely to use it. »
